New Open Morning Added for Year 6 Families

Due to high demand, we have added an extra Open Morning on Tuesday 20th October 2026. If you are looking for a secondary school place for your Year 6 child, this is a great chance to visit us, tour our site and meet our staff before the secondary school application deadline on 31st October.

Key Event Details

• Date: Tuesday 20th October 2026
• Time: Doors open at 9:05am
• Location: The Bulmershe School, Woodlands Avenue, Woodley

Tour and Session Overview:

You will be taken on a short guided tour of the school by one of our Year 9 student ambassadors while lessons are taking place, allowing you to see our learning environment in action. Following the tour, you will attend a question and answer session with our Headteacher, Amanda Woodfin, and our transition team.

Important Visitor Notes

• Year 6 Families Only:
  Due to high demand, places for this Open Morning are strictly limited to families with children currently in Year 6.
• Limited Capacity:
  There are 40 family spaces available for this date. Places must be booked in advance.
• Parking Guidance:
  There is no visitor parking available on the school site during the school day. We kindly ask all visitors to walk, use local bus services or park considerately in the surrounding area.
